Before I bombard you with dozens of food images and crazy photos of us (me especially),
let me thank once again this pair of lovely couple for taking such wonderful care of our kids
while we went for our peaceful dinner at Kyoto, a Japanese restaurant in Scheveningen.

Itadakimasu!

We ordered a green tea- infused Japanese beer for the first round, not a bad choice. :)

My man was cam-whoring all the way, from the beginning till the end of the meal!
Ended up with over 300 photos in just one evening, capturing only me and the food! Gosh, call him crazy or what!!!

Since he is not into neither Sushi nor any kind of seafood, I was the one who walloped all the sashimi, sushi and seafood that night! Definitely not doing this often, otherwise you will see a bloated HN very soon! lol!

My top fav of the night ~Flamed scallop sushi! I ordered twice!!! :P

Mmmmm, the Salmon skin sushi was to die for too! Especially the fatty part underneath the skin!
Sinfully delicious!!! :)

~~ Food, glorious food! ~~

Gosh, I could feel my tummy becoming fuller, pushing against it's walls and sloshing around inside of me! lol!
(Yep, you heard me right, I ate up all the above, ALL BY MYSELF! Crazy huh!)

Now, here comes his dishes ...

Japanese food is definitely not his cup of tea, and as always he would order fried rice wherever he goes, haha!
However, he had two portions of dessert to compensate his tummy, lol!

First round, Vanilla and redbean ice-cream served on a crepe ...

The 'paparazzi' of the night refused to be taken any pictures in the beginning ...

BUT after several attempts, I finally did it!!!
Luckily this silly couple was given a table at the most hideous corner of the restaurant;
Otherwise with all the flashing and giggling, we would be the joke of the night for sure! :)

The last photo marks the end of our precious evening together. We had actually planned to stroll along the beach then some drinks before heading back but the weather was so bad ~ rainny, cold and windy.
*It was not a bad idea to be back early either, I just missed both my darlings extremely much, hehe! :)*

Wow, you can really eat, HN! The salmon skin sushi looks interesting - I must look out for it the next time I dine at the Japanese restaurant.

Special thanks to Ai nee for the beautiful roses!!!

Maintaining a good marriage can sometimes be a difficult task, so for me a wedding anniversary is the celebration of love and appreciation of daily effort and focus we put in our marriage. This year is special because it was the first time both of us remembered the date correctly and looking forward to the special day anxiously ... T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R.!
That means everything to us!

We ordered the cake together, all four of us went to a French bakery shop, a very good one indeed! Finally!!!

Even Sethy contributed some ideas on what type of cake(S) we should get. :)

Sethy was eyeing on the cakes the whole day, lol!

The bakery shop gave us a little surprise for our celebration.

We had a simple, happy yet very meaningful celebration with just cakes and champagne;
I like how Sethy 'mistakenly' phrased it: " It's papa&mama's birthday together! " :)

8^thA Day With The Ducks

For a fun time that won’t break the bank,, go feed the ducks! Haha, feeding ducks is no doubt a very entertaining and frugal kid activity. I fed ducks at the various canals in the neighbourhood ever since I moved here,
and now I'd like to do the same with my kids. :)

Why is feeding ducks so fun? The pictures below will speak for themselves. ;)

The kids throwing out the bread, the ducks gobbling it up, and the kids yelling with delight.

Oh yes, then we laugh uncontrollably together! Hahaha, silly but FUN! :D

That's how we spent our rather boring Sunday afternoon in an interesting way. ;)
